As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure we produce high-quality, cost-effective beverage cans.
Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Attending to breakdowns whilst minimizing downtown
- Carry out routine checks and planned maintenance to retain the efficiency of machines
- Assist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs of machinery
- Carry out general overhauls to machinery
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairs
- Update and maintain data records on works carried out
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety
- Ad hoc project work
What you will bring to the team:
- Mechanical Trade Qualifications (Certificate III or higher) in a Fitting/Machine discipline
- Solid experience working in a continuous process plant environment
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience would be highly regarded
- Forklift licence and a confined space ticket would be an advantage
- Computer literacy – MS office, SAP knowledge or similar related software applications
- Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills
Wages & Benefits:
- $89,023.00 to $99,968.00 p.a. + up to an additional $22% in overtime
