Join Visy’s Tumut Paper Mill as a Reel Store Supervisor and lead a high-performing distribution team. You’ll oversee safe daily operations, coordinate logistics and maintenance, manage inventory and rosters, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitor the safe operation for the Reel Store, including Noggin incident reporting
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to complete repairs on forklifts, AGV’s and other machinery
- Liase with internal and external fleet allocators to ensure deliveries are appropriately coordinated
- Manage various stakeholders with a solution focused mindset
- Oversee the daily operations and implement improvements
- Monitoring inventory management to ensure effective staging
- Coordinating the staff rosters and manage leave balances
- Assist in development of a continuous improvement culture.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Previous leadership experience
- A current valid Forklift licence
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Intermediate computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
